Ability Building Community (ABC) is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team!
The Human Resources Specialist position at ABC has a strong focus on safety and training. This position is responsible for overall safety program coordination, compliance, reporting, and emergency preparedness at ABC. This position is also responsible for development, facilitation, tracking, and compliance of all training required and recommended for the organization.
The Human Resources Specialist works as a part of the Human Resources team at ABC and reports to the Human Resources Director.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
This position is full time. Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with flexibility.
Starting wage is $19.50/hour plus benefits.

The mission of Ability Building Community (ABC) is to provide services for individuals with disabilities through community inclusion. ABC has provided work supports, recreation/leisure activities, and independent living services to people with disabilities in the Rochester, Caledonia, and La Crescent, MN areas since 1956.
Associate’s Degree in related field and 2 years of related work experience in occupational safety/compliance and/or training and/or human resources.
OR
4 years of related work experience in occupational safety/compliance and/or training and/or human resources.
Experience with data tracking and/or information management is preferred.
