Our office in Thousand Palms, CA has an immediate need for a mechanically inclined, driven, energetic HVAC Install Apprentice to support an HVAC Install Leads on all service calls.
· Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
· Document service performed, and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
· Complete all tasks in accordance with proper quality and safety standards
· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
· Experience in setting units
· Hands-on experience in brazing, zoning, mini splits, furnaces, condensers & electrical wiring
· Experience with all types of HVAC systems and how each component within the system operates, experience with overall operations of the system as a whole.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
· Analytical, Focused on Quality, and Results-driven
· Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
· Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
· Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
· Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
· EPA Universal Certification
· Possess a minimum 3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
· Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10 - 100 lbs
· Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
· Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
GROOMING REQUIREMENTS
Well-Groomed Appearance (upon hire) – a clean haircut, clean shaven or well-trimmed facial hair, no offensive or facial/neck tattoos or piercings

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
