Job description
A local full service commercial heating and air conditioning organization. Is seeking a service manager to run our Rancho Cucamonga branch. This is a great position for an active experienced service technician, who is looking to take on a management role.
Responsibility's:
- Coordinate, train, and retain service technicians.
- Manage key financial objectives-E.G. gross profit, operating profit, material costs and unbillable over time.
- Manage and maintain service van/warehouse inventory.
- Confirm tune-up technicians are in route, on time and have been dispatched per home location areas.
- Review previous workday's service tablet completes and clock outs-missteps corrected-policy reinforced.
- Audit service workweek for downtime and encourage customer schedule adjustments with CSR's as needed.
- Unanswered customer voicemail/e-mail from previous workday is responded by mid-morning of current workday
- Perform random on-site QC checks on service and installations.
- Collaborate with dispatch/CSR's technician changes as needed.
- Go over monthly numbers on service department.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- HVAC certification
- EPA 608 universal certification
- Valid drivers license
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Minimum 10 years experience in design, installation, maintenance and repair of residential HVAC systems
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $100,000 - $130,000.00 per year
