POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides IT support to agency staff, perform routine network operations tasks, and work on various IT related projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to service requests within the IT support tracking system
- Provide hardware and software support for workstations
- Assist in configuration and support of mobile devices
- Participate in configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of servers and network connectivity
- Distribute training materials and provide training to staff
- Maintain and create documentation on hardware and software procedures
- Conduct software installs and updates
- Provide assistance with other projects including HIE (Health Information Exchange) systems support, network cabling and deployment, branch office setups
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
- 2 years of college preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENT:
- Prefer three (3) years professional experience in a Microsoft Windows Server network environment including Group Policy, ADUC, DNS, DHCP
- Must possess understanding of LANs, WANs, Wireless Networks, TCP/IP, and Microsoft Networking
- Experience with a combination Office365/Hybrid Exchange email environment is a strong plus.
- Experience configuring switches, routers, and other network devices is a strong plus.
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and have a strong sense of organization, critical thinking/troubleshooting skills, time management and the ability to research and learn new technologies
- Knowledge of Microsoft server basics including Active Directory and Exchange is preferred
- Experience with structured data cabling and AV systems is preferred
- Ability to lift or move various computers and related equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- frequent/occasional bending, stooping, pushing/carrying of equipment
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have dependable personal transportation (occasional travel to remote offices in the Phoenix Metro may be required)
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco certifications are preferred
