We are searching for an Imaging Assistant I to transport patients and take medical histories. Prep patients for exams. Assist with exams and explain any delays in procedures. Process requisitions. Print schedules and assist with retrieval of images. Control inventory and maintain adequate levels of supplies. Assist with special projects as assigned such as Quality Assurance, Education, etc.

• Hours: Per Diem
• Shift: Flexible shifts and hours
• Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized courses or training.
• CPR preferred
• Over three months’ experience in a similar position required.
• Enrollment in a Radiology Program or prior RT student experience preferred.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID 19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
