Reporting directly up to the Senior Director of Imaging Services, and overseeing a Supervisor, multiple Radiology Techs, and Supervisors, the Assistant Director Radiology will hold all responsibilities in ensuring that each individual staff member is doing their job, and properly trained. While using diagnostic imaging services, this team member will run tests with physicians to identify any illnesses or injuries. Tests will be given using x-ray equipment, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, or mammography to perform tests. Previous experience in this department as well as an AART license are mandatory for consideration. Prior experience in a management position including 5 years in diagnostic imaging services is highly preferred for considerations.

The responsibilities of the Assistant Director Radiology may include;

• Building teams while engaging in process improvement with staff members
• Attend meetings and guiding staff members in place of Director when absent
• maximize skills within a group to reach every given objective
• Plays a key player in the development of all employees in the department of focus
