Ealing Safeguarding Children Partnership

£700 per day up to 48 days per annum (circa 4 days per month)

Ealing Safeguarding Adults’ Board

£700 per day up to 60 days per annum (circa 5 days per month)

After several years of sterling work, the current Chair of our children’s and adults’ arrangements is stepping down and we wish to find a suitably experienced replacement. There are well developed partnerships with a commitment to prioritising safeguarding across all agencies but, as ever, there is more work to be done given the range of national and local priorities and we need someone to build on the existing good work undertaken and to take us further towards becoming outstanding.

We would welcome applications for either or both children’s and adults’ roles.

With a highly collaborative style, excellent chairing skills and substantial technical knowledge candidates will need to clearly demonstrate the following as part of their application for the role:

• Strong evidence of successful leadership and strategic management at a senior level in the public or voluntary sector.

• Substantial experience of chairing professional meetings at Board level in complex organisations.

• Experience of leading or working closely with multi-agency and multi- professional partnerships with a focus on delivering services to adults and/or children.
