Summary/Objective

The role of a Baker performs everything in the process and baking of pita bread for Sara’s Market & Bakery brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Weigh, measure, mix, bake following Sara’s Market & Bakery recipe
• Ensure temperatures inside building are optimal for proofing and baking dough
• Supervise Pita Line team members while they are packaging, train and mentor as needed
• Responsible for supply and ingredient orders
• Ensure quality and freshness of product and communicate any issues to Store Leadership.
• Inspect and maintain pita line to ensure it is working properly.
• Follow and comply with all applicable procedures and regulations, including Weights and Measures, FDA, health and sanitation, Department of Labor, ADA, HAACP, OSHA and safe work practices.
• Ensure that Team Members operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Leadership may assign other duties, not listed here.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Baking for Commercial business
• 2 years supervisory experience
• Guest Service focused
• Team oriented
• Food Handler Permit
