James Transportation, LLC d/b/a Tennessee Valley Towing (TVT) has immediate openings for Inexperienced Deckhands, Experienced Deckhands, Leadmen, and Relief Mates located in Paducah, KY. This is a marine-based position responsible for working a schedule of 28 days on/ 14 days off a line boat.

QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to satisfy all United States Coast Guard (USCG) & environmental regulations, and Company policies and procedures; and able to satisfy all United States Coast Guard physical requirements (46 CFR 15).
• Must comply with the Company’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy and Procedures in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) & United States Coast Guard (USCG) rules and regulations (49 CFR 40).
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) from the Transportation Security Administration.
• Must be able to speak/understand/read/write the English language.
• Ability to understand written and verbal orders.
