  • Strong company purpose to help andThe role The Information and Data Analyst has three main responsibilities:

1) Sourcing and organising data for their company initiatives. As part of this the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and extracting data from the web and for the delivery of content to internal and external users for internal and external usage. Our centralised information function provides our editorial team with key announcements and press-released developments, which they use alongside their own contacts and leads to develop news and other content

2) Working with the Publishing Manager on the collection, management of service provider profiles for SG and SPG 3) Collecting and analysing large data sets including KPIs, metrics to provide intelligence to internal teams

Job functions and responsibilities

  • Daily search, abstract and upload relevant information to their information management system a clear and accurate way
  • Ensuring the information sourcing process is well maintained and fit-for-purpose, including ensuring smooth deliverable to various departments
  • Working with other information and data analysts and other staff members (Editorial and DART) on auditing the current process to ensure accurate extraction and data delivery
  • Managing extraction tool, maintaining the content extraction agents and the procedure for screening the outputs
  • Assist the team on innovation projects regarding data extraction tools and technology
  • Assist the Publishing Manager on the collection and maintenance of the SG and SPG profiles, as needed
  • Analyse, create tables, charts and other infographics for SG and SPG
  • Analyse internal and external data to provide intelligence to internal teams and external customers as assigned by the Process and Data Innovation Manager
  • Any other duties as assigned by the line manager, group leader or department head
  • Keep up with the latest technological developments in data sourcing and manipulation

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar data analysis position
  • Experience with Mozenda software preferred but not required
  • Proven experience in using Excel, Google Sheets or Power BI to present complex and big customer data in practical ways
  • Attention to detail and ability to navigate through large data sets
  • Ability to work independently and within teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible with solid multi-tasking, time management and organisation expertise with the ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities
