The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Secure Enterprise Network Systems, Services, & Support (SENS3) for the continual operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). This position will function as an Information Assurance Project Manager, supporting classified network infrastructure environments. The candidate will support the program management team and is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvements, developing schedules, tracking requirements and working with customers/stakeholders to ensure that end user mission activities are fulfilled. The candidate will coordinate project activities with the engineering, security, deployment and operations teams and provide status updates to the customer. The Information Assurance Project Manager is responsible for all activities required to operate, maintain and continually improve the network, including:
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel to satisfy the contract requirements.
- Serve as the primary interface between the contractor and the government for all required project status information, tasking, risk management, coordination, staffing, scheduling and problem resolution. Regularly scheduled meetings and detailed briefings will be held at the various customer sites in the Washington, DC metro area and in person attendance will be required.
- Provide regular briefings and status reports on all ongoing efforts in support of the environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and support.
- Responsible for all activities required to operate, maintain and identify opportunities to continually improve the environment and end user experience.
- Directly accountable for managing the execution of all technical projects associated with the engineering and operations of the environment.
- Work directly with the customers to capture requirements for future enhancements and improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant/related experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant/related experience.
- 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Clearance Requirement: Active TS clearance (Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI).
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL certification.
- DoD or IC classified network management experience.
- PMI certification (PMP, PMRP, etc.)
- IT engineering and/or operations experience.
Academic experience in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Business Administration.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
