We are now looking for an Information Manager, to join our team in the Midlands, who validates the Project Information Model to ensure deliverables follow the agreed processes, that the data is to the defined levels in the BEP and is accurate.

Additionally accept / reject information exchanges, enforce the project Information Modelling standards and ensure delivery of the requirements of the Exchange Information Requirements.

Key accountabilities

• Uploading information to and downloading information from the Common Data Environment.
• Assist with configuration of the project Common Data Environment
• Manage and administer the Common Data Environment
• Manage and drive compliance with IM standards for the project
• Ensure model federation and coordination process is documented and executed
• Ensure the proper and correct management and verification of non-geometric model information
• Production of project BIM documentation and standards for approval by Senior PIM as required
• Manage the production of model outputs for defined project BIM use cases (i.e. 4D, 5D, visualisation etc)
• Ensure necessary check review and approval processes are undertaken at each delivery stage gate
• Functional management of Assistant Project Information Managers on relevant project
• Lead on the mobilisation phase testing to ensure production methods and procedures are fit for purpose
• Compile and submit required Information Management performance reports

Skills & experience

CORE REQUIREMENTS

• BSC Hons in a construction related degree
• Construction industry experience with Information Management/BIM on a variety of projects
• Software skills in 3D/2D modelling and data model management

DESIRABLE

• Professional qualification in a relative field to role
• Line/Team management experience
• Professional body working group membership
