The Company

A business that is leading the way in providing data management systems is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join on a 3-month contract. The business works with some huge household name clients such as United Utilities, Royal Mail, and the NHS.

They have just embarked on a real push into modern-day working by advancing their services to the cloud and implementing DevOps into the business.

Contract Infrastructure Engineer Role and Responsibilities

You will act as a senior point of contact for all technical escalations and project implementations for all internal teams. The role comes with hands-on experience in multiple technologies, exposure to projects, and the opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

• Maintain systems, updating, adding to, and improving.
• Build, and configure new PCs, servers, and network devices to required specifications.
• Your key focus is to provide technical support whenever required
• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will be involved in supporting both remotely and from the office.

Skills & Experience

This is a completely remote role, and the business will support you to work however is best for you. The business does however ask that you have:

• Strong experience with the Microsoft Stack.

• That you’re experience with Office 365.
• Experience working with VPNS.

• Previous experience working in Networks and Servers.
• Experience working with Firewalls.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical staff.
