About the role

The newly established Inside Sales Team for Europe are recruiting an Inside Sales Account Manager who will be responsible for managing customer portfolio's and ensuring effective customer management. This role can be based in the UK or Ireland (remote working is possible).

What Will I be doing?

  • You will utilize Kerry’s digital / telephone resources for engagement with customer
  • You will negotiate and close sales with regional and core customers, through collection/brand portfolio ensuring revenue and margin KPI’s are met for base of business
  • You will manage assigned regional and core accounts including the development of relationships and growth of these accounts against annual budgeted revenue and margin targets
  • You will establish customer relationship and build understanding of customers’ brands, products, technologies and tastes
  • You will promote Kerry products to assigned customers via phone/email/digital marketing
  • You will present new collection/branded concepts and insight to customers
  • You will ensure all opportunities are maintained and managed effectively in Salesforce
  • You will conduct monthly analytical reviews of customers’ performance
  • You will establish an internal network and having a strong cross functional approach to service the customer’s needs
  • You will work closely with Pharma team to align on brand priorities and promotional calendars to be executed in the trade
  • You will own the innovation pipeline and delivery in partnership with the EUM strategies
  • You will work with demand planning team to ensure any shifts in volume are captured and forecasts updated to avoid any supply issues

What do I need to be successful?

In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for

  • University Degree in Science; Chemistry; Marketing; Business Management; Or any other Relevant Major
  • Previous sales/customer care experience (preferred)
  • Strong skill set in relationship building & delivering to an agreed target
  • Priority management skills essential for managing large account territories
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce.com) & Microsoft Suite tools
  • Self-starter with a high level of autonomy/initiative
    • Experience/working knowledge with the digital ecosystem including areas such as digital marketing, e-commerce, social media platforms and Lead Acquisition Process. (Preferred).
