Altix Consulting is supporting the search for an Inside Technical Sales role for our client HBC Radiomatic.

HBC-radiomatic, Inc. is recognized as a leading global manufacturer of industrial radio remote control solutions for the materials handling, mobile hydraulic, and specialized machinery industries. As a result of continued growth, we are seeking an Inside Technical Sales Representative to join our dedicated team at the North American headquarters in Hebron, KY.

The Inside Technical Sales Representative shall be responsible for providing specialized technical and application engineering support for a diverse customer base. Working both independently and within a team environment, the representative will prioritize the clear interpretation of customers radio control requirements, how they translate to HBC’s diverse portfolio of radio control options and features, and to providing safe and functionally optimized solutions specifically matched to the application.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to external and internal customers’ technical support and application engineering requests
• Assess and understand client functional and interface requirements and how they translate to the optimal solution from the HBC portfolio
• Prepare and present proposals for HBC-radiomatic products and services to external and internal customers, including supporting technical information, bill of materials calculations, and price and delivery detail
• Process customer transactions in ERP and CRM systems and coordinate with internal colleagues to ensure transactions are addressed accurately and on time
• Provide post-sales technical support to resolve application or product issues and provide use guidance
• Support complementary administrative and technical/product management tasks, including data entry, the preparation and/or editing of technical documentation and drawings, any necessary internal and external communication, and related Quality Management functions

Education, Qualifications and Skills

• Associate’s degree from a college or technical school with exposure to electrical, electronic or hydraulics principles (preferred)
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capability
• Detail focused and able to adhere to high quality standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer oriented and able to build rapport with clients
• Computer skills and familiarity with ERP and CRM systems
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Experience with drafting, engineering or design software (preferred)
• Experience with electric/electronic and bus interfaces (preferred)

While extensive training is provided and recent graduates are encouraged to apply, previous experience in industrial/technical sales, customer service, or other related B2B fields is highly regarded.
Final offered compensation to be commensurate with skills and experience.
