Inspecting products the machine produces identifying flaws or discrepancies so that the technical operator can adjust the machine.

Discard or reject products of materials not meeting specifications.

Measure, weight and count products and materials.

Discuss inspection results with operator and/or quality assurance to determine necessary course of action if needed.

Follow packing specifications for product, be quick to respond if packing specifications change in the manufacturing process assigned.

Cleanliness and order around the machine, including the cleanliness of the machine and mold are the responsibility of all the packers under the guidelines of good manufacturing practices governing the company. Whenever required and when the machine shuts down, the cleaning check sheet will be followed and filled out to ensure such GMP.

Ensure the right labels for the right product is being used in consecutive order, to have the correct accountability and traceability.

Assist operator in filling out the production reports accurately and in a timely fashion, to record inspection or test data such as weights, temperatures and quantities inspected /graded.

Follow the guidelines of the Technical Operator as to the performance of the machine to achieve the greatest proficiency.

Participate in the line changes, when product molds are changed out due to the master plan requirements.

Be observant in learning and seeing how the machine works to be used in greater capacities.

Inspection packers must be able to move between different machines making boxes, loading the skids and supporting all activities requested by operators. Also, must help directly with the startup of the machine ensuring a proper feeding or roll change even when Operator is on break.

Rotate with other packers during the breaks.

Grinding scrap cups and sheets generated.

IN-LINES: Assist the Technical Operator in the startup of the machine. Help him/her with the weaving, cutting of material, the feeding of the material into the Thermo-former and into the grinder.

OFF-LINES: Assist the Technical Operator in the roll changes, feeding and weaving the sheet from the unwind stand to the grinder.
