This position is responsible for performing onsite customer support activities for chemical injection pumps and tanks, such as troubleshooting, installations, repair and set ups. Using company guidelines, performs onsite preventive maintenance and routine repair after installation.

What You Will Do:
Perform moderately complex customer support activities, including installations, routine repairs and maintenance of chemical injection pumps and accessories
Assemble different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment
Inspect all materials, components, subassemblies, etc. to assure they meet the accepted quality standards
Read and follow work instructions, work orders, production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
Process and submit customer service transactions such as service tickets accurately
Provide accurate and timely information regarding availability of in-stock items
Answer basic inquiries from customers providing basic technical product and applications support
Refers customers to local sales representative for further sales & service requests
Drive a company vehicle and makes deliveries to customer locations
Obtains signatures for deliveries made, as required
Work alone and/or under general supervision
Develop good working relationships with customers through frequent and professional written and verbal communication
Communicate professionally & effectively with customers when delivering both good and bad information
Know and complies with all safety policies and procedures
Work unconventional hours and potentially weekends to provide our required level of service on occasion
Attend work in predictable and regular manner
Participate in Lean events with active involvement in CI initiatives
Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately as noticed
Position Details:
Candidate must reside in Hobbs, New Mexico or surrounding areas
Work week and shift: 7AM to 4:30PM, likely daily overtime and weekend work required
Compensation package offered: competitive hourly rate and eligibility for quarterly bonus
New hire training provided
On the job training on processes, procedures, and product assembly
This role is an individual contributor
Attendance and punctuality are expected upon accepting this position
Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures (steeled toed shoes, safety glasses and other Personal Protective Equipment that is required must always be worn while performing job)
Maintain high ethical standards
Uniforms provided by company upon regular employment

Minimum Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical training or certification, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of assembly, installations, repair of chemical injection pumps or similar products and;
At least 2 years of experience performing moderately complex installations independently and;
At least 2 years of experience in strong customer service relations, including the ability to explain and train
Basic knowledge of industrial safety, proper hand and power tool use, and other motorized material movement equipment
Motor vehicle records must meet the standards for the company vehicle driving policy
Must meet DOT physical requirements and training
Able to lift at least 40lbs
Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel
High mechanical aptitude
High accuracy in data entry
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and various levels of management.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a high level of persistency in meeting delivery schedules
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to travel daily away from the shop up to 90% of the time
Speak, read, and write English fluently
Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements
Predictably and regularly attend work and be punctual
Physical Demands:
Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
Minimal climbing ladders, climbing stairs, twisting, stretching, collating/filling and using a keyboard.
Occasional squatting, walking and writing.
Frequent crouching, kneeling, reaching, and dialing.
Constant bending, lifting up to 40lbs., pushing, pulling, handling (holding, grasping, turning and working with hands), fingering (picking, pinching and fine manipulation), sitting, standing, seeing, hearing and speaking.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in oil and gas field installation of chemical injection pumps or similar products
At least 5 years performing moderately complex installations independently
At least 5 years of experience in strong customer service relations; including the ability to explain and train
High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
Certifications:
Vocational/Technical training or certification
