To work with a telecommunications company located in Vero Beach we're looking for Installers with no experience who wants to start a career in this industry. We'll provide with a complete training program.

Looking to train individuals in the skills of installing complex racks of electronic equipment, routing and terminating all types of cables (ex.: coaxial, DC power, Ethernet, Fiber, grounding,) installing computer consoles and accessories, programming digital radio equipment and installing vehicular equipment.

Responsibilities of a new Installer:

• Being friendly and respectful towards customers.
• Routing, terminating and labeling cables.
• Installing equipment in customer sites.
• Loading and unloading equipment for transportation to jobsites.
• Using basic test equipment to verify connections, grounding, etc.
• Powering up equipment to test connections and check for problems.
• Using computer to complete timesheets and expense reports.
• Using computer to program digital radio equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background check and routine drug test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel DURING THE WEEK up to 75-100% of the time depending on company needs.
• Willingness to travel out of market/out of state for up to two weeks at a time, occasionally.
• May be required to work off-hour shifts for some projects or scopes of work.
• Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift upwards of 80 lbs. of tools and equipment unassisted, and repeatedly climb and descend stairs and ladders.
• Ability to follow instructions and understand simple site layout drawings and installation plans.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct mechanical or electrical connections.
• Ability to make notes about work performed.
• Ability to work side-by-side with people all day long and get along

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
