Insight Global is proud to partner with one of our leading DoD clients in Newport, RI in search of a Secret-Cleared Platforms Installation Technician.

As a Platforms Installation Technician, you will be responsible for producing, prototyping, testing, installing, troubleshooting, and upgrading Non-Propulsion Electronic Systems (NPES) aboard submarines and surface ships. These NPES's include Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, antennas, and various payload systems. You will spend roughly 30% of your time in this role traveling to various bases (Hawaii, Norfolk, Kings Bay, etc.) to install these systems in accordance with installation shipboard process. You will spend the remainder of your time in a laboratory environment working closely with other technicians, engineers, and manufacturers to build prototypes, test electronics units, research equipment, and conduct quality assurance inspections on assembled units.
