Boart Longyear’s Salt Lake City Shared Services (SSC) accounting team is looking for a proactive, highly detailed oriented, self-motivated, well organized, quick learner to be part of the intercompany team. The individual should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, a proven ability to manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment and be eager to contribute to the success of the department and the company. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Intercompany Accountant that supports team members and assists them in their duties. Answer team inquiries related to job functions and processes.
Processing global intercompany loans, AR and AP transactions and holding companies.
Work Closely with team members and divisional entities, reconciling accounts and providing reporting and analysis as needed.
Prepare journal entries and intercompany loan schedules as well as analyze and reconcile Intercompany accounts we are expecting prepare 50ish JE each month(minimal)
Coordinate and assist in quarterly and annual reporting requirements
Support other corporate departments as it relates to Intercompany accounting inquires

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience
1+ years accounting experience
Excellent organizational skills
Self-motivated, customer service-focused, and detail oriented
The ability to figure things out with minimal instructions
Advanced knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, v-lookups and experience with managing large sets of data
Experience in working with foreign currency transactions a plus
Oracle R12 experience a plus
