Work accomplished meets or exceeds quality standards as set by the FAA, HAECO, and approved customer maintenance programs. The Interiors Mechanic is responsible to work in a safe manner eliminating waste and delivering a quality product on time. Essential Job Duties: 1. Perform work as assigned utilizing work instructions within estimated or budgeted hours and within FAA and HAECO standards of quality.

2. Maintain HAECO and customer record of maintenance documents accurately. 3. Use and operate safely ground support equipment, (i.e.

Man Lifts, Scissor Lifts, etc.) after training and qualifications have been assigned. 4. Read, understand and follow approved/accepted maintenance reference data such as Engineering Prints, Structure Repair Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Engineering Drawings and Service Bulletins to perform assigned work. 5.

Be familiar with the materials and processes commonly used during the maintenance of aircraft interiors. 6. Perform basic fabrication of replacement and repair parts in accordance with applicable data. 7.

Layout and perform interior reconfigurations and repairs in accordance with the applicable data without deviation. 8. For the proper execution of all required forms required by the customer and/or HAECO procedures manuals. 9.

Assist in the training of less experienced mechanics as well as assisting them in the performance of their job assignments. 10. Interface effectively with members of management, other departments and coworkers. 11.

Keep own and adjacent work area clean. 12. Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the HAECO Safety Manual. Secondary Duties: 1.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Accountabilities: Accountable to Maintenance Supervisor Job Qualifications: Minimum: 1. High School diploma or equivalent. 2.

2 years aircraft interiors experience with a maintenance/modification/overhaul center 3. Must provide own tools as indicated on company tool list. 4. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Preferred: 1. Airframe and Powerplant certification Physical Requirements: 1. Subject to noise in excess of 85 dB 2. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and requires the use of all safety equipment.

3. A normal range of pulmonary functions test is required and physiological determination of the ability to wear a respirator and other safety equipment as necessary. 4. Job required participation in the DOT random drug and alcohol testing program.

5. Normal or corrected hearing. 6. Duties require typical bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, climbing stairs, etc., handling supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

7. Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected and must have full color vision. HP123
