TBC Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Communications based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This position will lead internal communications – to include employee and executive communications – for TBC Corporation and collaborate cross-functionally to help drive high impact communication strategies that align with business priorities while utilizing innovative communication practices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in employee and executive communications and demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills. Must be a self-starter and possess tactical, creative, and strategic insight, with a track record of success across a broad spectrum of today’s communication channels. The candidate will report to the Vice President, Corporate Communications at TBC, and join a high-performing marketing/communications team.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads internal communications and partners with communications team members in executing enterprise-wide plans.
- Develops internal communications strategies with detailed plans for TBC Corporation and its retail, distribution, and franchise business units.
- Leads intranet refresh project and creates a one-stop-shop communications channel for all TBC employees to consume timely updates and features.
- Creates organic content (written, web, digital) and works closely with internal and external communications team members to ensure an integrated communications approach.
- Develops conversational and visual communications for TBC global employees for use across a variety of platforms including the employee intranet, email messaging, internal social channels, digital signage and more. Specific actions will include:
- Proactively develops and executes strategic communications plans and materials in support of multiple functions within TBC (Inclusion & Diversity, Human Resources, Digital & Innovation, ESG, among others)
- Sources content from TBC business units to highlight employees, customers and business priorities.
- Reviews and edits article submissions to establish consistent and cohesive messaging
- Plans/executes TBC employee meetings, such as town halls, leadership meetings and similar, through sending invitations, preparing agendas/run-of-shows, drafting executive speaker notes, creating visuals and more.
- Drafts/distributes email communications, including targeted employee communications, intranet features and other notifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, Journalism, or related field of study required.
- 8+ years of work experience in Communications, Public Relations or related field.
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications skills that reflect an ability to clarify and simplify complex issues and subject matters.
- Demonstrated writing and editing experience in print and/or online media.
- Strong technical capabilities, expertise with content management systems and comfort managing a variety of digital communications tools.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency under demanding deadlines.
- Highly efficient project management abilities and the ability to balance multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail, high-quality work and the ability to make recommendations are essential.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a successful track record.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with senior executives.
- Experience developing communications for global and multinational audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Photoshop
