International Account Coordinator
Job description
SUMMARY
This role will have accountability for delivering exemplary customer service through superior logistical management,
execution and customer interactions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate all aspects of global transactions including order and inventory management
Communicate daily with global suppliers, customers and freight providers
Provide operational support and service to internal sales team
Create budgets for transactions, including all costs associated with shipments
Issue Purchase and Sales Orders to applicable business partners
Ensure invoicing and documentation of all shipments is completed in a timely manner
Coordinate and monitor shipment plans
Work closely with internal transportation department and freight providers to book and trace shipments on a global basis
Evaluate transactions from a risk management perspective and seek internal approval when applicable
Collaborate with internal finance department to monitor and evaluate credit lines
Track customer receivables
Manage inventory held in various worldwide locations
Reconcile inventory on a monthly basis
Partner with international offices as it relates to functional responsibilities
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred
Bilingual a plus
Detail Oriented and organized
Possess the ability to learn quickly
Candidates should have 2-4 years of operations or logistics skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sitting for extended periods of time
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computing equipment
The employee frequently is required to talk or hear
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
