Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BDC Department Manager to oversee daily operations and manage a team of professionals in generating appointments and quotes for potential customers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in auto dealership business development centers, Internet sales department management or Internet sales, and possess strong organizational and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily BDC department operations
• Generate appointments and quotes by means of outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market to potential customers
• Set appointments
• Listen and be attentive to customer needs and priorities.
• Run daily/weekly/monthly reports and track results
• Record and listen to customer calls
• Determine which customers to contact based on current marketing initiatives
• Review performance and develop staff
• Interface with other department heads
• Participate in dealership management meetings

Skills/Qualifications

• Successful track record in Internet sales, auto dealership business development centers or Internet sales department management
• The ability to manage high call volumes, internet leads and call lists simultaneously
• Overall knowledge of automotive sales and service department operations
• Strong organizational skills and leadership abilities
• Experience in training teams and individuals preferred
