Interoperability Analyst
Job description
We are pleased to announce the opening for an Interoperability Analyst, who will join our Operational Test Agency (OTA) Team in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for conducting operational performance analysis of the Missile Defense System.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
You’ll be reviewing flight test, distributed and integrated ground test assessment requirements and performing system interoperability analysis across systems under test in flight and ground test campaigns working with both test and analysis teams. You will be collaborating with analysts to assess system interoperability across Tactical Data Links (TDLs) and assist in the development of toolsets to capture assessable metrics in accordance with the overall OTA Operational Analysis Plan (OAP). You will be working with Missile Defense Agency Test Directorate, the Joint Interoperability Test Command, and other cross-functional team stakeholders during pre-test planning and test execution. You will be developing and briefing test findings to stakeholders at post mission data reviews.
Here’s what you’ll need:
You must have a bachelor’s degree at minimum, in a technical field such as Computer Science. Also, we’re looking for someone with at least 10 years of full-time professional experience in areas such as: Military Data Links, Army and/or Navy Interoperability. Finally, you must possess or have the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance. Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.
You also must have:
- In depth knowledge of MILSTD 6016, MILSTD 3011, MILSTD 6120 and MDASTD-007
- Working knowledge of TDL planning
- Working knowledge of related TDL planning documentation pertaining to Ballistic Missile Defense operations
- Working knowledge of data capture tools such as ADSI, LMMT, or NSITE
Other qualifications we hope you bring to the table:
- Qualified Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) preferred
- Qualified Link Unit Manager (LUM)
- DoD service equivalent Data Link manager certification
- Operational Testing and real-world Data Link management experience
