We serve the residents of Hamilton County in more ways than you may realize! In this role you will administer purchasing functions for County departments and maintain supplies and inventory and assist with the surplus auction program. You will also process and track purchase orders for proper procurement and compliance and work with vendors and County departments to achieve purchasing goals.
Summary of Job Duties:
- Maintains material, supplies, and inventory for a county department or division.
- Compile reports regarding inventory and purchasing of supplies.
- Places quotes and bids to purchase County supplies.
- Responds to customer and supplier inquiries.
- Coordinates with supplier/vendor the delivery of goods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- one (1) year work experience which indicates a thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures, and an advanced knowledge of inventory control methods and purchasing
- or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Work Location and Hours:
- 138 East Court St. Cincinnati, Oh. 45202
- 40 Hour Work Week, generally between core hours of 7:30-5:30
