Job title: IOT Developer

Location : Remote (must relocate to Charlotte, NC in the next 1 year)

Duration :6+months-Contract to hire

Job responsibilities

• Work on state-of-the-art IoT Edge Computing Platform for Retail
• Participate in and contribute to architecture design meetings
• Participate in and contribute to Agile development process, including planning and daily stand ups.
• Work with other technical and non-technical team members to turn high level requirements into low-level designs.
• Research new technologies and develop solutions for integrating them into the platform.
• Help define an overall device adapter architecture that spans multiple products and deployments.
• Expertise in IoT device software design and development
• Experience in one or all of BLE, ZigBee, Z-Wave, LoRa, Thread, Matter, WiFi, RFID protocols and software stacks.
• Experience interfacing directly with devices such as cameras, via protocols such as RTSP protocol.
• Experience programming in one or more languages and platforms including Python, Java, C, C++, iOS and Android
• Preferred knowledge of embedded development on constrained platforms and SoCs such as RaspberryPI, Beaglebone, EFR32
• Extra points if coming from industrial, building or other IoT industries

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Mountain View, CA 94035: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
