Job description
The ideal candidate is familiar with the TTA program and the Northern area of Idaho. Great attention to detail, and excellent leadership, communication, and technology skills. Is flexible enough to respond quickly to emails and phone calls and is willing to jump in and help get the job done. Excellent problem-solving ability. This is a contracted position, paid on an hourly basis. Hours are variable based on the Idaho Standard Achievement Test (ISAT) testing window. Light duties from October-January, heavier during the test window (generally Mid February-April). The position pays $22/hr. May require some travel.

Job Summary:

Responsible for working with the Northern Idaho Area Coordinator in locating, managing, and monitoring testing sites in the assigned region. Supporting site/overseeing site managers and proctors. Coordinating and training test proctors. Communicating with TTA families to track/monitor testing of all 3rd-12th grade IHLA students in their region.

ISAT Administrator/Manager Responsibilities:

Overall Goal:
Test every TTA 3-12th grade student required to take the ISAT by the State of Idaho (State requirement/90% of all enrollment) in their assigned region. Any student who does not complete the test will not be eligible to return to IHLA in the 2023-24 school year.

Team & Parent Support:

  • Work to assist the Area Coordinator.
  • Communicate with Staff/families as needed. (ie, answer emails, texts, or calls within 24 hrs or less)
  • Develop positive relationships with ISAT Team and families.
  • Monitor proctor performance

Program administration:

  • Work to assist the Area Coordinator.
  • Locate and obtain test sites.
  • Monitor and coordinate Test proctors and support staff.
  • Track ISAT Team/parents required training and documentation (SpEd, accommodations, no shows)
  • Monitor testing participation
  • Follow up with families who have not signed/shown up to test
  • Call, email, text
  • Send Follow up emails
  • Monitor and update the Master Test Tracking sheet
  • Communicate regularly with the ISAT Area Coordinator.
  • Monitor and oversee on-site testing sites.
  • Proctor and/or administer state testing, if needed.
  • Attend In-service training as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Admin Team.

Assistant Coordinator Requirements:

  • Complete any required training required by the State.
  • Pass a background check if not currently an IHLA or TTA employee
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding tech skills, especially confident in Google Sheets/Excel
  • Well-organized with excellent leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Reside in the Northern Area of Idaho (Bonner's Ferry & Sandpoint areas preferred).
