What you will do!
The IT Operations Analyst position will assist the IT Finance Manager by providing support for OIS-wide activities and initiatives including legislative coordination between agencies and management, IT funding coordination, governance, contracting, internal communications, analyzing data for performance metrics and reporting, and system and process improvement. This position has responsibility for identifying, facilitating, and implementing process improvements to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of OIS. Because this position touches many aspects of OHA and ODHS, it is required to develop and maintain ongoing communication links and contact with managers and other staff throughout OHA and ODHS.

What we are looking for:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

OR;

Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification

Experience analyzing complex policy and rule.
Experience in professional written analysis.
Experience in coordination of complex processes.

Working Conditions
This position involves frequent contact with executives, management, and staff both internal and external to the organization. It requires working with a variety of people and situations, which requires the incumbent to exercise diplomacy. This position requires a work environment where conversations can be kept private and not overheard by unintended listeners. Often travel to meetings is required with some travel to trainings. There can be frequent interruptions, demanding timeframes, and non-traditional working hours. Some evening and weekend work may be required during legislative session. The location of this position is in an office, cubicle and/or an agreed upon remote work environment with significant use of a computer and video conferencing. You must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. If not, you must be able to provide an alternate method of transportation.
