Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman, P.C. seeks an IT Operations Support Specialist to join our team full-time. Specialists provide technical customer service to our attorneys, paraprofessionals, and admin team. This position reports to the IT Operations Manager and, once fully trained, will work weekdays from 10 AM to 7 PM Eastern with an hour for lunch and a mix of days working in our Indianapolis office and days working from home.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Respond in real-time to calls, emails, instant messages, and in-person requests for technical assistance to:
  • Troubleshoot software including Office, Acrobat, video conferencing apps, & file sharing portals.
  • Troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices, & related peripherals.
  • Offer basic instruction to users.
  • Assist setting up video conferencing software and running large meetings.
  • Assist with equipment setup, replacement, and firm-wide rollouts.

Requirements

  • Work 10 AM to 7 PM weekdays once fully trained (8 AM to 5 PM during training).
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional, technical customer service by phone, in person and in writing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware including laptops, iPhones, and related peripherals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software including Windows, browsers and plugins, Microsoft apps and plugins, Acrobat, Teams/Zoom, and related mobile apps.
  • Ability to follow through and document issues and resolutions.
  • Ability and desire to work with a team at times and individually at times.
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies and to share knowledge with the team.
  • Willing to provide on call after-hours support one week a month, including weekend hours with additional compensation.
  • Willing to travel to Hall Render office locations to support equipment rollouts. Travel is rare and scheduled in advance but all specialists are expected to participate.
  • IT experience in law firm environment and Microsoft or other technical certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
