MTC is currently seeking candidates interested in a Janitor position. This position is responsible for overall general custodial tasks and keeping assigned areas of facility clean and in an orderly condition in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain the grounds and inside the facility, by removing and disposing of litter and debris.
• Perform general labor and maintain facility appearance by cleaning hallways, dining area, bathrooms and other areas of the facility as assigned.
• Lift, carry, open and unpack boxes using hand truck or dolly, if necessary.
• Move furniture, strip, refinish and buff floors, which requires lifting over 50 lbs.
• Requires long periods of waking and standing.
• Perform specific janitorial duties by squatting and bending to perform such functions.
• Empty and sanitize trash containers in accordance with sanitation procedures.
• Maintain all cleaning solutions and equipment in a secured area.
• Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. One (1) year of general janitorial or related experience preferred. Must successfully complete required pre service training. US Citizenship required. Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
