The JDE Architect will work under the direction of the IT PST Director. This individual will be a key liaison with all of the businesses running JDE ERPs. The primary focus of this role will be to architect, design, develop and deliver business solutions through detailed understanding of the current and future needs of the business partners. Based on a wide range of experience and industry research help, provide short term and long term direction in the areas of technological advancements, available third party solutions, and external support options. Partnering with stakeholders to achieve sustainable productivity through a collaborative and consultative approach. Work with other team members in other business functional areas to support the successful deployment of the solution.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key client stakeholders
• Serve as a JDE subject matter expert
• Gather requirements, design & build integration and automation solutions with JDE, Boomi, and other applications
• Analyzing detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for the applications
• Coding internally developed applications and/or configuring commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages
• Leading application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and solutions for clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 9+ years JDE functional experience (implementation or upgrade experience preferred)
• 2-5 years Boomi development experience.
• Well organized, able to multitask and manage multiple client projects simultaneously
• Experience solving complex problems
• Clear and effective written and verbal communications
• Ability to understand business processes, functional requirements, and technical specifications while effectively communicating them to various stakeholders
• Two or more JDE implementations or upgrades
• Prior experience managing small teams
• Experience with Java/Java Script
• Travel required
