As a Journeyman/Journeywoman Sign Electrician/ Sign Installer, your primary responsibility will be to finish, prepare, and install electrical and other building signage. He or she will apply the highest level of workmanship to all elements of every job, pay high attention to detail and provide quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate for this position will like working with their hands and have a background in construction and electrical. He or she must be a licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Sign Electrician in the State of Texas. He or she must be a team player and work with other departments to deliver the best product to the customer. He or she presents professionally and communicates well to customers whether in the store or on site at a customer. He or she must follow all safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, test and/or repair electrical signage
• Masks, weeds, and applies vinyl to various substrates
• Properly and efficiently uses an X-Acto knife and ruler
• Operates a vertical panel saw using standard safety procedures
• Maintains machinery in a good working condition
• Travels to different locations to conduct site survey and install various types of signs
• Applies vehicle and window graphics
• Maintains a organized, clean, and professional store appearance at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Sign Electrician in the State of Texas
• Problem solver
• Be a "Handy Person", especially experienced in methods of fastening items to buildings.
• Able to work at heights on boom lifts or ladders while lifting signs
• Ability to work in a team
• Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
