Nifco is a plastic injection moulding supplier to the automotive industry, we supply directly to many OEM vehicle manufacturers with a diverse portfolio of parts with varying levels of complexity. We operate from two state-of-the-art factories in Eaglescliffe which are complemented with an integrated R&D Facility.
Job responsibilities
Duties
- Assisting the Management Accountant with the Fixed Assets Register, including input of additions and disposals, as well as assisting with the annual fixed asset audit.
- Performing balance sheet control account reconciliations, including payroll.
- Assisting the Financial Controller and Management Accountant with month end analysis of costs and interrogation of variances against budget.
- Post monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.
- Support during the interim and year-end audits, producing working papers and assisting external auditors with queries.
- Support the team with the annual JSOX audit requirements.
- Administration of petty cash system for the business, including monthly counting and reconciliation of the petty cash held on site to the balance sheet, for all currencies.
- Produce monthly analysis reports for distribution to senior management.
- Completion and submission of ONS returns as required.
Key skills
Qualifications / Experience
Essential
- Experience in a finance department.
- Actively studying or completed a finance qualification (eg AAT).
- Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Aurora System 21.
