JOB SUMMARY:

Our Junior Controller assists in the strategic planning and management of Finance Department functions by supporting comprehensive reporting of all financial and operational units. Works closely with our accounting team to establish and measure progress of departmental objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in establishment of financial controls across the organization
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits
• Analyze, produce, and assist with financial reports, closing processes, AP/AR, payroll, tax compliance, forecasting, account reconciliation, and GL activities
• Assist in development of strategic financial planning for departments, locations, and overall organization
• Track progress of business unit attainment of revenue goals, cost savings, and profit margins
• Manage commercial banking agreements, credit resources, and transactions including cash disbursements
• Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures and capital expenditures
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current CPA License
• 5+ years’ experience in Corporate Accounting
• Thorough knowledge of Federal and State financial regulations and GAAP
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive and proprietary information
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
