Role Description: We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to provide support to the Direct Care Financial Management (DCFM) division of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). The mission of the DHA, part of the Military Health System (MHS), is to serve as a Combat Support Agency and lead the MHS integration of readiness and health to deliver the Quadruple Aim: improved readiness, better health, better care, and lower cost. DCFM is responsible for the creation of a fully integrated resource management office supporting the Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) to provide high quality, high value healthcare.

The Financial Analyst will support DCFM in the coordination of their travel related activities, providing assistance and support to the MTFs as it relates to the use of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). Additionally, they will provide customer service for pre-travel arrangements, travel order approval, and assistance in identifying discrepancies and running travel-related reports.

Operate in a support capacity with the DCFM Travel team to provide customer support running and monitoring travel reports, providing customer service assistance to users, assisting to clear ULOs and UMTs, validate all compliance documents are uploaded to the DCFM repository, assist with policy updates.

Skillset Requirements

• The Contractor shall be knowledgeable of DoD and MHS policies relating to Travel and experienced in the use of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and GFEBS.
• Prior training/experience with GFEBS (Preferred) or DEAMS
• Defense Travel System (DTS) Experience
• Experience processing Unmatched Transactions (UMTs), reconciling ULOs, and working GFEBS IDocs (financial system interface errors)
• Knowledgeable of system requirements to include GFEBS, DTS, ODS, and DCAS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and skilled in oral and written communications

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
