Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Technical Target Analyst to work side-by-side with client staff to support analytic requirements in a dynamic setting in Northern VA. Successful candidates will work in team environment and will be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. Candidates will be required to have prior experience with analyzing all sort of data, familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Read and understand intel reports

• Draft and disseminate official communications, reports and conops

• Identify operational targets of interest and lead operational cases

• Perform technical research using specialized tools and methodologies and conduct technical analysis

• Develop reports packages and impactful briefings to present to senior management

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of Five (5) years of experience as analyst evaluating information for targeting and reporting purposes

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with technical collections and experience using sponsor databases, tools and methodologies

• Technical background handling RF hardware and routing

• Strong analytic, research, investigative, and exploitation experience

• Experience in conducting research and understanding targets, how they operate, and how they fit in the larger Geopolitical landscape

• Demonstrated experience with IC or other USG agencies performing similar work

• Ability to draft formal and informal correspondence to include but not limited to cables

• Excellent communication skills, verbal/written/presentation

• Demonstrated experience with describing collection requirements and targeting information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Desired Skills:

• Formal training or certification as a Technical Targeter

• Knowledge of telecommunications, including cellular and computer networks

• Foreign language

Education:

Bachelor of Science Degree or higher with major in Computer Science/Engineering, Science, or related field with Five (5) years of experience
