Wage: (negotiable) $13-$15/hour with annual reviews and raises. (Tips per paycheck add $1-4/ hour)

Requirements and Job Description
Must be able to work weekend hours both Saturday and Sunday (negotiable) however position can be 15-40 hours per week depending on your schedule. Job is extremely rewarding but labor intensive, loud, and preformed both inside and outside regardless of weather conditions. This position is perfect for someone who would like to start a career in the field of animal care or looking to attend pre- vet school, etc. Must be at least 16 and able to lift 35 pounds to apply. Must be able to work one or both upcoming winter holidays in addition to most weekends (negotiable)!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:
- Walks through the kennel areas checking each animal individually for any abnormal activity such as vomiting, diarrhea, or blood in the cage or run. Reports all abnormal activity to supervisors and makes a note in the computer so the animal can be examined.
- Supervises doggy daycare playgroups
- Checking In and Out clients from their boarding stays using our software
- Booking Reservations
- Answering phones and emails
- Preforms bathing services
- Marks charts correctly for eating schedules.
- Feeds and waters animals according to schedules.
- Cleans and disinfects cages, runs and yards.
- Cleans cat litter boxes.
- Washes dishes.
- Picks up soiled laundry as well as runs multiple loads of laundry
- Administers medications to those animals that require medications and preforms minor treatments for hospitalized pets as needed.
- Walks/rotates dogs.
- Maintains equipment.
- Maintains cleanliness of entire kennel facility
- Does property rounds for safety and security.
- Janitorial work including cleaning bathrooms, floors, and work spaces as needed.
