Discovery Years Child Learning Center is currently seeking professional, experienced Teachers to nurture developing children's minds and provide the best child care experience to children and families in the community.

Qualified candidates will be contacted from a member of our corporate management team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of your classroom
• Ensure that DYC curriculum is implemented
• Maintain DYFS compliance regulations
• Professionally communicate with parents
• Complete daily/weekly reports
• Maintain a professional relationship with personnel
• Maintain a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in an early education facility
• Experience with a NAEYC or similar accredited school is a plus
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
• Highly professional and dependable
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and strong time management skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills
• CDA certified or willing to obtain for toddler teachers
• Teacher certification required for preschool teachers.

This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with a one hour lunch break.
