Mission
Emulsion Products is looking for a Lab Technician 2 for our Quality Control Lab that is located in Anchorage. The Lab Technician 2 is responsible for conducting tests of asphalt related products and analyzing the results. The main objective of this position is to ensure that the products and processes meet the established quality standards efficiently. This position will report to the Assistant QA/QC Manager.
Education & Skills
- High School Diploma.
- Valid driver license
- Proficient in general computer and software use to include Microsoft Word & Excel
- General math skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility in work schedule to include weekdays and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work long days as needed.
- Occasional climbing of stairs/ladders. Working with and near moving mechanical parts.
- Interaction with heated equipment to include hot plates, propane burners, and electric ovens.
