Lawn & Landscape Crew Lead Expectations:

• You’ll be responsible for landscaping and landscape maintenance; installing brick pavers, edging, plantings, trimming bushes and trees, spring and fall clean-ups and doing weed management
• You’ll fill out your timesheet accurately for each location you’re working to make sure clients are charged the correct amount
• Each morning you’ll load your equipment and any other tools you’ll need to complete your route for the day
• Each evening you’ll perform basic cleaning and maintenance on your tools, including blade sharpening, stocking up on supplies, etc. so you’re ready to get moving the next morning
• When you run into a customer at a client site, we expect you to check in with them to asking questions and listening to their responses to ensure you’re providing them with all the service they need
• Each day you’ll have a regular check in with the Operations Manager to report on your progress and any issues that come up
• You’ll be driving a company truck, so you’ll have to have a clean driving record so we can insure you
• You’ll ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication
• During the winter, you’ll be on-call to help during snow events
• Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to take training classes during the winter months

Lawn & Landscape Crew Lead Skills & Experience

We’re flexible on the number of years of previous experience for this role. We highly favor talent and interest. Some candidates may see this list and feel discouraged because they don’t match all the items.

• Experience as a Crew Lead or managing folks
• Experience with zero-turn mowers
• Experience with trimmers and blowers
• Experience with pruning trees and shrubs
• Experience with installing plants of all types
• Experience with pulling a trailer
• Experience with installing mulch
• Experience with basic lawn equipment maintenance and repair
• Experience with mini-skid steer
• Experience with snow removal
• Valid driver's license
