Smucker Laser Cutting & Machine Fabrication (a division of Sam S. Smucker & Sons, Inc.) is a premier metal fabrication manufacturing firm serving clients in the South-Central Pennsylvania region. We provide laser cutting and metal fabrication services from manual prototyping to automated long run productions. We continue to grow and are seeking Laser Operators to join our team on our second shift.

Laser Operators may perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

· Operate and maintain the laser cutting machines to produce parts that meet quality and productivity standards and the production schedule;

· Complete computer control set-up and adjustments;

· Perform material handling duties;

· Complete paperwork for projects to include materials used, time keeping records, and time and material work; and

· Assist in preparing finished products for customer pick-up or delivery.

We will provide the selected candidate with comprehensive training in laser cutting operation.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

· Manufacturing/production experience (preferred);

· A desire to learn;

· Good mathematical skills;

· Team player with good communication skills;

· Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments;

· A good work ethic; and

· Strong mechanical aptitude.
