Job description

Join our team of lawn care and landscape workers here in Humboldt county! We provide simple lawncare solutions to homeowners, primarily focusing on weed-eating, mowing, hedging, and drive/entrance cleaning as well as window cleaning services. We have currently maintained approximately 15 homes for over 5 years and are now expanding! This means we currently have enough work routine for 8-16hrs/week with an optional increase in work as homes/jobs are added monthly. A benefit to this model is that you get to grow your position with our company! This position is an independent contract position. One benefit of our setup is flexible scheduling and optional additional hours.

Required:

-clean driving record

-Good communication skill and reliable work ethic

-transportation/ability to meet at named location to begin routine (trucks preferred)

-ability to work outside in difficult situations for 6-8hrs with lifting of heavy objects, movement in unstable areas, and comprehension of the risks of lawncare work

-Responsible use of company lawn equipment

Responsibilities include:

-working independently and/or with others at homes throughout the county

-knowledge of lawn equipment and responsible tool use/safety precautions

-logging your own hours and showing proof (thru pictures) of jobs completed

We are looking for workers to fill our positions throughout the summer, with possible work into the Fall/winter. Reliability is a must, with prior lawncare/landscaping experience preferred. We are flexible with scheduling and offer incentives if you have a vehicle usable for hauling/transporting equipment.

Starting pay is $18/hr (additional pay if using your own vehicle/truck).
