Join a newly developed team within our corporate HR department that is responsible for managing our overall HR strategy and program effectiveness. In this role, you will lead efforts relating to overall management of the strategic plan, and ensure that our critical initiatives, policies, and processes achieve the desired outcome. More specifically, you will work cross-functionally with all areas within HR and the business to:
Manage HR strategic plan initiatives- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Develop and track HR KPIs and measurements
- Develop, manage and maintain HR policies
- Coordinate HR communications

Core Skills and Qualifications
The ideal Lead HR Specialist candidate will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of progressive HR experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Three (3) years of project management experience
- Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Experience coaching and leading other HR employees
- Experience diagnosing issues and improving processes utilizing continuous improvement/problem solving techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain issues or processes
- Proven analytical problem solver
- Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create intermediate level reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively present to an audience
- Ability to streamline processes, integrate, and associate pieces of information gathered from multiple sources and apply to projects, and business processes
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time domestically
- Experience with vendor management, preferred
