Position Summary:

This is a role within the Centralized Logistics Department. The Lead Logistics Analyst is responsible for supporting the Logistics Supervisors to deliver superior customer service by developing and aligning people and tactical plans that leverage standard processes and eliminate waste across multiple functions. This position will drive continuous improvement within the Logistics Team as well as with business unit leadership in the delivery, warehouse, sales, and merchandising departments.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Complete coverage routing and truck diagramming activities in the most efficient manner while keeping safety top of mind.

• Train and develop Logistics Analysts.

• Conduct analyst performance assessments and provide feedback to supervisors.

• Perform root cause analysis for issues related to operations, sales and merchandising.

• Troubleshoot system errors and provide solutions in a quick, effective manner.

• Utilize Business Intelligence tools to identify opportunities for improvement in driver productivity and route efficiency.

• Collaborate with local leadership teams to perform route optimization projects with low supervision.

• Standardize processes on a team wide scale to allow for better support of field partners.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years’ related experience OR High School Diploma and 4-5+ years’ related experience.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Effective communication skills – oral, written and presentation.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a sense of urgency and results orientation.

• Experience solving a variety of problems that range from simple to more complex.

• Strong customer service, collaboration and organizational skills.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on MS Excel.

• Must be able to work second shift hours (approximately 10:00am – 7:00pm) and schedule of Sunday – Thursday.

• Expected to travel onsite to business units 1-2 times per year.

• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 6 months to 1 year logistics team/project lead experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Logistics, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Data Management experience.

• Experience in the beverage distribution/transportation industry.

• Route planning and/or route optimization experience.

• PowerBI or similar business intelligence suite experience.

• Understanding of lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma tools.

• Experience with truck load diagramming tools.

• Paragon, Territory Planner, or similar route execution tools.

• Able to drive People Engagement initiatives identified by survey.
