Job description

Job purpose: Maintain healthy, safe and nurturing Christian environment for children at church nursery. Supervise other workers and provide direct nursery care for children: infant to 5th grade on Sundays, infant to 6th grade for non-worship events. Assist Children's Director with administrative tasks as time permits.

Skills/Qualifications: Pastoral sensitivity to adults and children, confidentiality, respectful dialogue, demonstrated love of children, CPR training for infants and adults, organizational and communication skills, ability to multi-task, initiative and self-management

Education/Experience: high school/equivalent, at least 21 years of age, 3 years of experience working with children

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
