We are looking for a Lead Painter to work closely with our team to create a better work environment while adhering to safety procedures. An ideal candidate will have experience develop training new workers, as well as having a proven history of completing projects on-time and on-budget. We are interested in hiring an individual who has the flexibility to work independently, enjoys working in a busy environment and has the ability to oversee staff while still remaining on task. Candidate must have a Minimum of 4 years painting for both interior and exterior.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize proper handling techniques for paint.
• Strong manament and organizatinal skills.
• Setting up and breaking down jobsites
• Assign tasks to painters.
• Inspect work area before and during job to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Evaluate quality of work performed by painters and ensure that it meets all requirements.
• Ensure that proper safety equipment is used at all times.
• Instruct painters on correct use of tools.
• Recommend changes or additions to work based on customer input or employee suggestions.
• Review safety standards and ensure they're followed by not just employees but customers as well.

Qualifications:

• Must have 4 years of both interior and exterior painting.
• Have a Drivers License and reliable transpertation.
• Prior Experience managing painters.
• Must know how to use an airless sprayer and lift.
• Needs to keep a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Should be able to address and resolve jobsite challenges.
• Must be knowledgeable of paints, stains and coatings.
• Must have a good attitude and be able to work as a team.
• Should be lead certified or willing to get lead certified.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
