Job Description:
The Lead Production Associate acts as a liaison between the Shift Supervisor and the staff who work in the facility. This position is in a fast-paced repack atmosphere. In this environment, the Lead Production Associate will be responsible for the performance of the repack operation. This will be done by training and coaching production associates, tracking efficiency on the paperwork, and escalating issues to supervision. The Lead Production Associate is also responsible for ensuring the team is operating in a safe and clean environment.
Requirements:
- Must have leadership in a production environment
- Must have the ability to coach, train, and lead warehouse associates
- Must have the ability to multi-task and solve issues
- Must have theability to maintain positive relationships with the partner, warehouse associates, and Insource leadership
- Must be able to move up to 10lbs repetitively, 50lbs occasionally
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work well with others, take direction from leadership, and maintain a safe and clean area
Site-Specific Special Requirements:
- Must wear steel-toe footwear
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as the schedule needs
- Must be willing to wear GMP safety equipment like hairnets, beard nets, ear plugs, and eyewear
- No jewelry allowed
