About the company:

ServiceMaster is an industry leader in disaster restoration and cleaning services. Our franchise serves Kent, Ionia, Ottawa, and Allegan counties with fire/water mitigation, mold remediation, and residential/commercial cleaning. Our team strives to provide compassionate care to our customers, after suffering a disaster in their home.

About the position:

We are looking to add a lead water mitigation technician/crew chief to our team. The position is full-time, Monday – Friday, with a rotating on-call weekend schedule. Position open for immediate hire. Compensation dependent on experience.

*$1000 signing bonus to be discussed at an interview.*

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead team of mitigation technicians in day-to-day operations (Job set-up, drying, demolition, etc.).
• Inspect jobs and prepare job scope.
• Communicate with customers regarding process, scheduling, and job progress.
• Accurately document jobs by taking notes, taking photos, obtaining necessary signed documents, and monitoring the loss using industry software/platforms.

Requirements:

• Lift up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Restoration industry experience (2 years preferred)
• IICRC certification (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
