Explore what we offer and help turn your talents into a rewarding career. We’re seeking a Leasing Consultant for Herrington Mill in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Tax Credit Property. This role will collaborate directly with the property management team to provide residents with excellent service. To earn potential tenants' commitment, paying attention to their needs, providing solutions, and supporting them throughout the leasing process are essential.

• Interviews prospective tenants and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Accompanies prospects to model apartments and discusses size, layout, available facilities and services, and lease terms.
• Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit.
• Inspects the condition of premises periodically and arranges for necessary maintenance.
• Compiles listings of available rental units.
• Identifies prospects.
• Answers incoming calls and voicemails in a timely and professional manner.
• Have prospect complete application and secure deposit following the company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update availability reports and process applications for approvals. (i.e., credit check, rental history, etc.) Submit processed applications to the Community Manager for approval. Follow up with applicant regarding status.
• Ensure the apartment is ready for a resident to move in on an agreed date.
• Immediately follow up on prospects that did not close and attempt to close the sale again. If unable to help prospects, refer them to sister communities to meet prospect’s needs.
• Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow-up or monitor advertising effectiveness. Gather information about market competition in the area and file.
